However i can’t see myself going for the Ensemble though. Hey Blayzay, I’m partial to the Ensemble since it was a a step up for my home studio and within reach budget wise would love to go for the Rosetta and Symphony card but not in the budget this year!
I’ve heard great things about the Fireface and know a lot of cats stand by RME especially their proven track record as the Ensemble got off to a bit of a rocky start stability wise. I think the FF is also a very solid investment.

I am still waiting a year and a half now for Migraine-Audio to close my trouble Ticket!!! This after replacing the hardware numerous times. I have gotten RID of my migraine,thank you.
No,my friend,please do not recommend a company that does not stand by their audio interface products. And blame their parent company as well.

I personally know several guys who have adopted this new setup and it is working great for them.
The Lightbridge like anything else is not the solution for everybody but for some it is working great while adding flexibility that they would other wise not get from what’s offered in the LE hardware range. I am sorry to hear that you were unable to figure out how to make your system work properly but laughing at my post and making false generalizations does nothing positive for anyone on this forum. Their software is causing the problem,please contact Digidesign to see if they can help you. I have not received any response from them,for over a year and a half. And this was while all was under warranty. And no,I was not condescending to them,only after talking to Digidesign did I lose my cool.
Are you ready for this? Yet they said it was Digidesign’s fault. What a load of c. Yes,the techs blamed the parent company,for the wrong reasons.
I gave up,gave away the three systems I had at work,and upgraded to Digidesign hardware. Never been happier. So,you see,I might be flawed in my opinion,but it was M-Audio that made me this way,with respect to their products. I totally sympathize with your frustrations and understand how that would sour your opinion of M audio.
It was similar frustrations with Digidesign hardware constraints as well as company policies that lead me to Logic in the first place. That reminds me, I owe them a letter thanking them for that!
Pro Tools is a perfectly capable recording medium but I think that we can all agree that Digidesign has alientated a lot of customers. It is after all,still the “standard” in most studios. Requirements: 8 audio tracks in Logic for “free” before the first controlled track. In essence, Logic Track 9 controlled by Fader 1. Then, when Bank button pressed, the next 8 Logic Tracks are controlled by Faders in “Bank” page.
The Good: – 16 discrete tracks is more useful than the 6 I got yesterday. Questions: – I don’t know how to save this. Regarding my “custom Controller Assignments” mapping in Logic. I don’t know if it is necessary. But in case, I will indicate what it is: Logic Controller Assignments: First, deleted any existing controller settings and setups. Zone created 2. Mode created 3. But, I’m clueless on this. It is somewhat futile. The only value in this, for me, is that it would allow me to use for Logic and for Pro Tools.
And, not have to mess with also buying a new interface, if I get rid of My studio desk and space is too small to allow for a and a dedicated Logic Control Surface. The connection with and Pro Tools is so great, I am reluctant to let go of that until I know I can get equivalent with Logic and some other control surface.

Why be strapped to the limited hardware options that come with PTLE when Logic affords you the ability to choose from a wider selection?
Isn’t this one of the selling points of choosing Logic as your DAW? I’m also recommending the Mbox mini or Mpowered system as he obviously wants to be able to bring in or deliver Pro Tools sessions. I’m not suggesting he track with these units! I’m suggesting that he use the cheapest Pro Z ‘dongle’ he can find so that he’ll have digidesign 003 rack logic pro x free ability to open or deliver Pro Tools sessions if needed. I want something that will also work as a standalone without turning on the Mac. What would be the best way of connecting new interface to the Mbox to use it with Protools. Is there another way? Hope this is clearer Ian. Get the Fireface, and keep the M-box, do remember they wont be a conflick if you’re using a host card by firewire, so as to have each interface on a different buss. Or get rid of the digidesitn interface. And if the price right and get awhich in your case would be my last option.

And i have figure out what you are really saying. Thanks a million, i will be investing either in RME or Apogee. Or something else as that was suppose to be my plans in the first place. But some how i change my mind as converter wasn’t really my digidesign 003 rack logic pro x free.
But also to learn dogidesign bit about digidesign 003 rack logic pro x free else, since our long awaited friend hasn’t arrive even though he,s the best friend around, if you know what i am saying. However after checking out the converters in the its not much in digidesign 003 rack logic pro x free, compare to Fire-face However i can’t see myself going for the Ensemble though.
