But if you have purchased this book, you probably don’t know how. I graduated in the year , and I was told, upon starting, that by the time I graduated, whatever I’d learned would be obsolete. I want to get very good at video editing. Learning from on line tutorials is hard for me. How many screens do I need anyway? Three is not enough! For me, this is the unsinkable way to go. This series is laid out impeccably and helpfully. You have to really want to! You may do some head banging against the wall, but that is not the fault of the book.
You are going to have to bear down and surmount problems. Quick example: There is a CD included in the paperback copy of the book make sure the issue you get is exactly right for the version of Premier Pro you are working with. Do you know I’d actually forgotten however that I do not have a CD drive anymore? This should not have been a problem: There are links and instructions for downloading missing materials from “PeachPit. I have solved the problem, but that is what I am trying to say.

I noticed this was the version but I figured it should still be compatible with premiere pro The lesson files are not recognized. Hopefully I can get an exchange for the edition. Daughter needed this book for her college class and it was much cheaper here than her college bookstore.
Very difficult to follow. The author would rather impress you with knowledge of the product than take you through a exercise step by step to completion. The author could learn a lot from Scott Kelby. Buy the paperback version that will have a cd or the access code to download content on peachpit.
I cannot find that access code anywhere with my kindle version order. Don’t even know how to contact the publisher for support. Worst purchase ever. Stay away.
