I work a full-time job and am overwhelmed by the steep learning curve you talked about. My goal is to embroider and sell tea towels when I retire…keeping positive that I can learn to embroider on this machine! I ended up later purchasing Hatch Digitizer, and I love it! It was much more intuitive to me than most of the other programs available, so the learning curve was slightly less steep…but it still took a significant effort on my part to become proficient at digitizing!

Applique, in-the-hoop, etc. Once you learn how to split the design, one easy way to embroider a split design is to use a repositionable or multipositional hoop.
