Even for advanced Mac users, this book is irritating. Even for advanced Mac users, this book is difficult. So slow in places you think nothing is working, then if you keep reading you realise you are being spoon fed, and have jumped way ahead Then as things get interesting the book skips over intricate features as if they will be second nature, leaving you with an idea of what can be done, but with more questions than answers.

As you progress, things should become easier, but with this book they don’t. The changes in pace and detail makes it so frustrating to use. My only advice is to read the whole chapter before carrying out the lesson, underline and tick off every instruction, as missing or misreading one instruction will leave you bamboozled. At first I was delighted with it, and hoped I would get on with it. The first lesson started well but then I got stuck with what was supposed to happen what didn’t on my desk top screen.

Even when I started anew I still had troubles. But probably it is due to it being a very complicated program and not having a lot of time. Report abuse.
