Fuji has been doing that for many years now. You really need to take a brake from commenting on this site kiddo. I have seen another couple of your comments and everywhere you go you seem to pour out ignorance. Finally the Fuji primes are superb, so you clearly have no idea what you are talking about. Oh, and this lens is good. It’s amazing the amount of ignorant inexperienced commentary you can spout. Japanese have some best technologies but still are defeated by Americans, Koreans, and Taiwanese in many fields.
From lens coatings, to materials, etc. The primes in the Fuji X trans system are pretty much all superb, sans the 18mm. And this? You can, of course, make images look as sharp or as soft as you like in any RAW converter, just by changing the sharpening settings.
Totally Agree with Asylum.. Fuji using a different sensor, iridient is the best software to develop your raws and results are different. I’d recommend mr Andy to browse on the net to try to understand what Asylum means..
I’m sure Iridient Raw developer is great, but I don’t use a Mac. It applies more sharpening by default, but even so the images with distortion correction applied inevitably look a little soft on the pixel level. And, as I pointed out in the review, this is mainly of academic interest – it doesn’t really matter much in practice.
Can a soft image from poor optics be brought into sharp focus by changing the sharpening settings??? Surely enhancing edge contrast by software is not the same as a sharp image from great lens optics presented to the sensor. The context here is about the visual differences in output offered by various RAW converters from any given file. In general, Capture One will apply more sharpening to files from any camera, and therefore make images look sharper.
This doesn’t mean ACR is wrong – more that it starts from a different aesthetic decision. Blurry, yes. Sharp: well, that depends on how sharp it is to start with, unfortunately. Andy – Sorry but I have to strongly disagree with you here. It’s not a matter of increasing the sharpness- the ACR current raw converter simply does not handle Xtrans well doing smearing of the color. Capture One simply decodes the data better, pretty much realizing the potential for Xtrans.
While dpreview wants to keep a level field by using the same raw converter the truth is current Adobe raw is just not a good idea for Xtrans, and while you guys keep sticking to that line all you are doing is completely going over the potential of the sensor. Andy – “Capture One will apply more sharpening to files from any camera, and therefore make images look sharper.
No, no, no. Sorry, check out several images for yourself with ACR and Capture One on for example forbidden traffic signs where the red text leaves about 1 pixel wide white to the end of the metallic sign. Adobe’s stuff simply smears the color, Capture one will correctly decode the data to one pixel in that situation.
This is NOT just a different “aesthetic decision” by Adobe and Capture one – this is that the algorithm they are using is different, it shows and Capture One simply does overall much better. This has been examined and discussed to great extent- look at the first Adobe Pass at Xtrnas- it was downright horrible.
It’s not the best still and even the updated Silky Pix does overall better note how Silky Pix got updated for improved Xtrans decoding. And by the way, yes Iridient will indeed vastly more detail than Adobe’s raw on Xtrans and no amount of sharpening on the Adobe setting will bring you the same detail. That said Iridient does have its own artifacts to deal with but in a lot of cases they don’t matter compared to the extra detail you get, and they have a lot of tweak ability. I still find Capture One 7 latest the best balance for Xtrans.
There’s much more to a lens than just sharpness which in my experience depends mostly on ensuring the camera is tightly attached to a heavy tripod. To create beauty, a lens has to be able to capture the shape, weight, and tonality of objects; and it has to convey distance in a convincing way. In Leica circles they call it “drawing,” as in “the drawing quality of this Leica Summarit is simply exquisite. Same goes for Bayer of course, ACR is just a middle of the pack fro me when it comes to demosaicing.
Andy – Didn’t catch the Capture One reference, my apologies there. The original comment was simply due to the fact that users will be comparing the files to lenses of other systems, and Adobe doesn’t treat X-Trans files as well as standard bayer files. Not a big deal, just would have been a nice addition.
Keep up the solid work. I own the , and find the sharpness pretty incredible for a lens of this sort. Looking forward to the 2nd generation of XF Mount cameras. CFynn – check out the links dengx gave you- or better yet- download the trial for capture one and for light room if you don’t have either , then check some raws for yourself.

Well, then look more carefully – look in particular for cameras with a stacked sensor, with 6. And then tell me which camera on par with the feature set is cheaper cheaper for that matter Or are you just looking at your wallet and it happens to be too much?
My impression is that the X-H2s is going a different direction design wise, which shows just how hard it was to improve on near perfection, i. In a way I’m glad, because X-H1 owners will continue to own a truly unique camera. A progressive improvement of the X-H1 in its current form instead would have possibly enticed X-H1 owners to consider an upgrade. Perhaps the X-H2 40mp camera rumored is that camera As a camera manufacturer, you have to consider your most likely buyers, with video trending so hard it’s understandable Fujifilm went more that direction.
For still shooters like myself, most of us would likely stick to the X-H1 at this point. Unless Fujifilm indeed has something else up their sleeve. OK, sorry to say the XH2 misses the mark.
The XH2 was on my short list , but not now the truth is out. Maybe the 40 meg version may be better. Who really needs a stacked sensor, yes some improvements but had 15frames sec some years ago with the Samsung NX1. The XH2 is expensive for whats on offer and video no interest to me. Three years waiting and so far forget it, such a shame. Stacked will support the High FPS otherwise your photos in certain areas would bend I think if people want to stick with Fuji and want something for sports then this ticks the box.
Not saying 15 isnt enough for sports, but 40s better :. Stacked sensors are also good for slow shooting Fujifilm gives you lots of choices, not to talk about other camera companies. Get a T, wait for the H 40mp or get a Sony – loveley world we live in, lots of choices. So the H2s did not meet your expectations, but it still did hit the mark, while missing your mark. It did not tick my boxes either, but you know what – I never expected it to do. OK but for the majority of users no real advantages.
Having been invovled with digital imaging before digital cameras the hype gets worse. MOst still shooters do not need more than 5 frames a second except sports. I shoot birds and rarely use more than 5fps.
Shame people still seem noy to take images without the technology, such a shame. The incremental new feaures will soon be obsolete when the next super camera comes ut. I will still use my Fuji cameras and full framers to do what I need. By the way my favourite full frame is Nikon, but do use R series and also A7 series full frame. My APC focue is Fuji. Yes hope the 40mp version offers somethkng. If you want video and need more than 15fps with the electronic shutter fine.
It will be long before the next higher end will come out the next leap is global shutter and curved sensors and it will be years before we see it at ILC. Amazing what comes up, who mentioned banding,, do you use Fuji , not aware of banding with any of my Fuji cameras. Af may be improved but whats wrong with the af already on XT series in most situations.
HavE not ignored af, but will wait until had a chance to use an XH2s. Funny that given the chance prefer the XH1 over the XT3, real world difference exist but not big enough to worry about practically. Anyone knows the framerates for external RAW in future?
Considering how 4k60 is downsampled from 6k internal formats, it would be great external RAW is 6k60p was available instead of a crop into the sensor for 4k60p RAW. Let me see If you watch initial reviews, like that of DPRTV, you find that the add on fan will most likely rarely be needed anyway. The camera records without overheating for long periods of time. It is good to keep H lines in production.
I really like my XH1 though no interest in this HS. Let’s see what the X-H2 has to offer in September. Despite the improvements in AF I am not really tempted.
Too much stuff to pay for which is of absolutely zero interest to me. Basically all that video stuff. If I want to shoot video I use a GoPro. Or even a mobile phone. How about the advanced eye tracking or the high resolution EVF? Looks like these things could be useful for still shooting too. In turn, that suggests Fujifilm has succeeded, to a degree: if customers find themselves torn between two different product lines, it suggests there’s too much overlap.
Indeed, now all we need is that stacked sensor in an X-T body, hopefully not too long in the future. It’s actually a pretty important distinction. I’m not getting the traditional yet still modern and versatile feeling from it like with my H1s. But hey, maybe PASM is the wave of the future. I don’t know. I’ll avoid final judgement til I can try the new one in person, but I don’t think I’m ready to retire my X-H1s just yet.
Specs and capabilities look great, but it is yet another Fujifilm ergonomic scheme that has nothing to do with any other camera in the line. It’s almost impossible to build “muscle memory” if you shoot with different Fuji cameras. They’re all one-offs–even within the line–and have vastly different ergonomics for basic functions, like the XF and the XV.
There’s no need for that. Agreed, mostly. At least all the old fashion dial cameras were reasonable, the exposure triangle was always the same, even the dial wheels, AF switch, and many of the buttons were somewhat similar like the differences didn’t take long to learn but now it’s all PASM. Fuji’s controls were a big differentiator versus other cameras.
Now it’s just like a fast, crop sensor Nikon that’s more expensive than the actual Nikon. The lack of consistent ergonomics kills any chance of Fujifilm being considered by working pros, especially photojournalists and sports photogs–the pro audiences where Fujifilm’s compact size and APS-C format could compete with full-frame. It’s an inexplicable unforced error.
There was too much multi steps to get certain functions in EOSR. But people complain thats boring design. Even the battery is standardised.
Not sure why you would expect a manufacturer to make models that are so similar that they allow muscle memory. If you want that, then just buy two XT4s. I use the XT4 and and XPro 2. There is little overlap, and I am grateful for it. Different tools for different use cases.
So where is the point to compare that? And if you are already in the Fuji ecosystem then this will be their most advanced camera to date. And the iPhone will be worth a hundred bucks in a few years. I could get more for my 10 year old Olympus E-M5 than for a six year old iPhone.
NTM the glass, which holds its value quite well after initial new to used price falloff. My four year old phone is practically useless as a phone thanks to Google slowing it down but my 20 year old digital cameras are still useful.
Slow, but the same slow they always were. Point being, the purchase of a good quality digital camera and lenses, regardless of make, is among the better investments one can make in terms of electronic items which somewhat hold value over time.
Actually iPhones hold their value pretty well. And mirrorless cameras, being more computerized, suffer from digital depreciation more so than DSLRs and film cameras. But really, that only matters if you plan on selling. If you do then that means you either are buying something else, with the added expense, or getting out of the gear entirely. French – You’ll pay twice that for a full frame camera with a stacked sensor. Assuming good shape on both, not mint but not thrashed, either.
One other consideration for a used phone of any make is that it better be 4G. T-Mobile at least, is retiring their whole 3G network this year. As long as there’s software to process its files, digital cameras won’t ever really go obsolete. And that’s another checkmark in my column of good camera and cheaper phone. But what is the point? I still have my Pro-1 and guess what – the photos out of this little box did not get worse over time, they are still awesome. Sure, it is not my main camera anymore, but I really try to avoid looking at cameras as being disposables.
Big difference to phones in a way. Yes the prices of the top of the line cameras may well be in nose-bleed territory, but as production techniques improve, these technologies will find their way into more affordable cameras.
A key thing here is that APS-C as a format and m43 for that matter makes sense for a lot of photographers – it should not just be regarded as a cheaper option to a 36×24 sensor, for a lot of applications the smaller sensor has distinct advantages.
The, what is it ten year old, X-Pro 1 is still very capable as a primary shooter in several genres. Richard Butler Question with regard to the add on cooler. How flat is the back of the camera where the cooler goes and how flat is the cooler on the ontact plane? In computers one uses thermal paste to optimize heat transfer between CPU and cooler by maximizing the contact area and reducing pockets of air. Funnily enough I asked them exactly that question.
The product expert I spoke to seemed to think it would improve the performance but, because you can’t close the screen with the fan unit attached, means you’d either have to really commit to keeping the fan attached or get used to cooling paste getting all over the place. Or replace much, if you can help it.
Fuji, if you are listening, please don’t lose the manual dials on the X-T series of cameras that brought me and many other Fuji lovers over from other brands! Some naysayers claim manual dials on cameras for shutter speed, etc.
I disagree! Fuji X-T cameras are just as relevant today as any other brand on the market and there is nothing wrong with nostalgia! Myself, I don’t even need the resolution of 40mp. Just want modern camera with dials, basically an X-H1 with faster internals. I know it won’t happen but honestly, I’d be happy with its current sensor and even video specs, just faster AF and processing.
More worried about the flip-out display myself. The controls i could live with if i had to they won’t change that though , but to have the display over to the side is so unnatural imho. Who knows, there may be two versions of the X-T successor as well. After all the X-T3 is still being sold now as well.
Probably testing the waters to see what users want. I feel like something for missed here. Didn’t Fuji announce a new x-mount lens or something like that?
There are samples in the gallery at the bottom of this article, but this article is about the X-H2S. The Fuji XT series has for Fuji become kind of a signature item due to its retro styling.
This is one hell of a camera, if autofocus and IQ prove to be outstanding, we have here a winner. But at considerable cost… I think that the target market for this camera would be existing Fuji shooters who want to amp their game, not exactly rookies, I would say.
Gerald Undone makes this same point in his video first impressions review, where he notes, as others have including me, that people rarely jump around from system to system. Yet many write and talk as if with every camera release, the entire market is up for grabs again, as if switching is that easy or economical.
We also have the fact that we have less new entrants to the market. So most camera manufacturers are marketing to their existing customers first and foremost. Gerald also makes the point that if you are in the Fuji system, this is a no brainer if you can afford it. Also he calls this right now the best hybrid APS-C camera of any brand.
I am not so sure. One feature no one talks about DPR Team – why not?? My son made a movie of a theater production, using 5 cameras and he would have loved that feature. Agreed, this is an innovative feature. Except for the part where I can’t even get their camera app to reliably transfer photos to my tablet. So am I really going to get four live streams on said tablet, that I can control in real time and have that work?!
That’s a sincere question, btw, I’m not trying to bash. I’m just a bit incredulous, is all. I hope it works! For the price I think most people would rather get the Sony A7IV and have access to the vast library of lenses and top tier autofocus.
It depends on what features you value, and of course, if you are already invested in the Fuji system. If you do a lot of birding and wildlife, you may prefer this Fuji. And the final product may AF better than the pre-prod version.
It’s a classic DSLR and will last for several years and you have access to a wide variety of great lenses. So if one doesn’t mind going a bit larger and using a DSLR, this is probably one of the best values around.
But that internal ProRes sure would be sweet. If you are primary a still shooter and 5 times bigger rolling shutter doesn’t bother you Sony will be better choice for you. If you a hybrid or primary video shooters the calculation can be different. At this price point it’s about choosing what you need. I think the X-H line suffer from identity crisis. The X-T and X-Pro have the cool retro tactile feel to them. They were and are still great for street and portrait work.
And finally the SX did everything X-H1 set out to do for far lower price albeit years later. It feels like the X-H line is once again late for whatever party that it didn’t get invited to. I always thought that the “H” stands for “hybrid”, but interestingly now Fujifilm claims that it stands for “heavy duty”. Seems like they’re trying to establish twin professional workhorses, one for high performance and one for high resolution, like Canon and Nikon used to do with DSLRs.
The X-H1 yes. It was halfway between classic and modern in handling and did have to fight the performance of the H-T4. Now the X-H2 has the performance to shine and goes full way to handle like most other cameras in the world. It is a modern high end, something the X-H1 would have liked to achieve but it took another iteration. When the X-H1 came out, Fuji touted its sturdier build quality and reinforced lens mount for heavy cinema glass. Even in video, I like being able to turn the shutter speed dial at any time.
I’m not shooting for clients or money, so I don’t care if I see a hiccup now and then. The X-S10 doesn’t do all the H1 does: single card slot, not WR, pedestrian build not bad, just not extra sturdy ; it’s not in any way a flagship camera.
The S10 was never meant to be top shelf. Apparently its UI was a hit with someone, because that seems to be how they’re going with their cameras from now on. Bummer for their original core demographic-stills shooters who prefer physical controls or at least clickable dial wheels. I wish it had the pro capture mode from Olympus.. I have to agree. Unless one is into the Fuji system it looks like yet another 26 MP addition to a long line of 26 MP models refreshed at intervals just months apart.
Almost like Firmware updates disguised as new models in my view. Not sure if it is the rapid release cycle or just perception of the same sensor in multiple iterations. Months apart? The X-H1 was released over four years ago. The X-T4 two years ago. As someone using the system you are well informed on model differentiation. I think that is the naming convention issue I was responding to. One lens zooming in on the Statue of Liberty from 3 miles away vs another zooming in on a house plant.
It’s funny when presenting arguments with facts, man intently is labeled as “a ridiculous troll”. It’s simply, because of the same here, pre-production hardware, pre-production firmware.
It leaves a negative taste. And then came all the YT folks, and saying already, gear xy isn’t good, because of the beta status!
Doesn’t make sense after all. DPR, Gerald Undone, and all of people reviewing beta gear don’t do Fujifilm a favor, instead, it’s all of the same, but negative, when reviewing pre-production gear – so this is questionable, in terms of how it would correlate to the final product.
Old news, older Fuji lenses have been known to do that for years, you’re just cherry picking nonsense now to back up your weak argument. This new lens zooms in and out smoothly during video, unless of course you point it at the statue of liberty from 3 miles away then compare it to a house plant. Gerald Undone also mentions: “This problem isn’t exclusive to this camera but it persists here”. Maybe so, but the manufacturers still send out pre-production gear to reviewers knowing full well that they’re going to comment on its performance.
Apparently, the exposure is more important to the manufacturers than whatever negative points the reviewers might bring up. I’m a fan of Fuji but I’m also a realist. Fuji’s AF-S for stills is excellent. AF-C and subject tracking has trailed other brands.
Yet in less than a year, Canon lapped Fuji and has now even passed Sony in certain areas. Nikon’s AF has gone from questionable to neck-and-neck with Sony and Canon.
Meanwhile, Fuji appears limited to making incremental improvements. Fuji has now had two more years to improve their AF since the X-T4. Yet it still exhibits some of the same basic flaws that date back to the X-T4 or earlier. I’m not holding my breath that two more months is going to make a difference.
I hope I’m wrong. Marc Petzold – agree fully. Maybe I’m missing something, but I don’t see any other product categories being reviewed while at the same time the manufacturer claims that what is being reviewed is not the final and best implementation. Talk about buying the cat in the bag. This approach makes no sense, for ANY manufacturer, and overemphasizes negatives that may be resolved by the time the product is for sale.
Guys, nothing bad meant, first of all. I mean, it might disappoint people especially on YT, with so called “Reviewer” or “Influencer”, when the gear is not up to the task – because it’s pre-production, which might leave the crowd into one or another term therefore unsatisfied. Therefore, i thought it’s much more wise, to test final, production level gear. Of course, bugs will be ironed out, over the first handful of fw updates That’s a good point.
Nikon’s rep for mediocre AF in Z bodies followed them unfairly for a long time after the very early firmwares weren’t the best. They did in fact fix it pretty quickly. He’s always seemed kinda Sony-centric to me understandable given he’s quite video-centric , so that’s why I’m pleasantly surprised by his review of a Fuji. I don’t think eno2 is trolling? It is a legit issue and Fuji does need to refresh their entire line-up for zooms if they are going to continue producing hybrid bodies in the future.
The especially. The supposedly main workhorse lens suffers so badly from this issue. For the to be marketed as parfocal even if electronically and zooming with no iris stepping, this does highlight a concern. Not sure why Fuji still has this issue. The lack of firmware updates over the past years to address this is proof of it.
Other brands have the iris is mechanically coupled to the zoom ring OR electronically controlled but stepless. The X-H1 at least, got a firmware update which removed the iris stepping exposure issue. And it never really got the Kaizen love it deserved, so if they fixed the H1 then I’d be surprised if they didn’t make the attempt for other models as well. That video link he posted us worse than useless, you simply can’t use 2 completely different situations to try and highlight an issue with one product that doesnt happen with another, its completely ridiculous to point one camera at the statue of liberty from miles away then another at a house plant in someones dining room to try and compare them The is a still lens, I know because I own it, it was never touted as suitable for video, and when it was released there was no mass market or hysteria around video capabilities in stills cameras, that has materialised since.
I like many things about this camera. It is an advanced equipment with latest technology. We are yet to know advancement in IQ that comes with new gen sensor.
I wait for review and RAW image tests especially for low light and dynamic range. However, for a hobbyist like me who is primarily focused on still photography, this is still a overkill camera. APSC is a good balance but this camera is missing its balance on price and size. The size is larger than A7IV. For me, for the same price, despite speed and advanced tech, I would prefer to go full frame than crop purely for IQ.
I dont know how this camera will win or loose for Fujifilm. XT5 and XPro4 will be nowhere near These will likely be the same price as this one – between and I can see the point of the OP.
No argument about that. But why do you post it? It is quite clear that the XH2 was not designed for your needs. Nothing wrong with that, but that does not make the price absurd – it would make it only absurd, if you pay it, because it does not fit your needs. Stepping back and the camera makes a lot of sense provided they got it right and gives the ones that need it a very capable, very fast camera with excellent video.
My son, a pro video producer, was immediately caught by the Remote Shooting feature – 4 cameras controlled by one control device, that is awesome and that is BIG. Just one example where the camera makes perfect sense – just not for you. I agree, the way pricing is going with apsc bodies you may as well go full frame! Size advantages of crop sensor bodies have largely disappeared with the new generation of full frame.
Also even lenses are becoming more compact. A good example would be Sony a7c with 24mm f2. I’m speaking from purely a lightweight set up here of course, there are many more variables to consider depending on what you shoot I personally think cropped bodies are in for a rough ride unfortunately You will come to a certain advantage of FF, if you need more resolution, for example, or if you really shoot most of the times in super tricky light conditions and also if you only shoot super wide open and need the shallow DoF of a 1.
I would call these Situation rather specific, non general. So other features get more attention and that might play well for APS-C. More reach anyone? Faster readout? At the end of the day still more compact? Here you go! Someone said: only time will tell. I feel there is a spot for all formats. And I like the physical controls, so this is probably where I’ll go. I also don’t need the latest and greatest whiz-bang video.
Free photo editing software for Fujifilm
Capture One first announced an iPad version of its http://replace.me/11169.txt photo editor a year ago. Since then, we’ve seen snippets and teases of the iPad app, including in March when Capture One shared its roadmap for At that time, Capture One CEO, Rafael Orta, said, ‘Our plan, as capture one pro 12 fujifilm review free bring Capture One Live, Capture One for приведенная ссылка, and Capture One for iPhone to the table alongside Capture One Pro for desktop, is to give photographers the most powerful ecosystem of creative and collaborative tools that give them the liberty of читать полностью anywhere in the world, anytime, and with anyone.
And further equipped with easy file transferring, you’ll be able to pick up where you left off on your creative process across devices.
At that time, Capture One said that being able to edit and export images on the go was a capture one pro 12 fujifilm review free part of the iPad app. Users will be able to have Capture One’s image processing engine capture one pro 12 fujifilm review free the go and use select image editing tools on their tablet.
Capture One has also shared some details about what users can expect when the app launches later this month and in http://replace.me/8643.txt coming months via free updates.
It’s important to understand off the bat that Capture One for iPad is not intended to replace the desktop version of Capture One, but rather, it’s a companion.
It’s part of a larger ecosystem where you can organize, edit and export your images across multiple devices. You can simply plug your camera into your iPad, import your images and begin organizing and culling. You can swipe through нажмите для продолжения photos, and rate or tag them. You can then edit your photos in the new user interface, specially designed for iPad, using Styles presets or manual adjustments. Once you’ve finished your edits, you can export your images as JPEGs or upload them to the cloud, where you can then pick up where you left off on Capture One for desktop.
Of the user experience on iPad, Capture One writes, ‘Our team of user researchers, UX designers, and UI designers has studied when, where, and how you would use the iPad app and made an interface to fit. The result of this research is features like our two-handed UI, and more subtle elements like hand gestures used to control the tools, such as long pressing on the screen to see a before and after of your photo, or the amount of space dedicated to your images on the screen.
To release the app this month, the Capture One team has had to leave out some features, including tethering. Capture One is working closely with Apple to bring tethering to iPad and hopes to have the feature available soon. There’s plenty still in the app, though, including a suite of editing tools, like white balance, exposure, brightness, contrast, saturation, highlights, shadows, whites, blacks, clarity, structure, dehaze, sharpening, basic color editing with HSL, black and white conversion, noise reduction and more.
You can also crop and rotate your photos in the app. Alongside tethering, future updates to the app capture one pro 12 fujifilm review free add masks and layers and improved cloud support.
Ultimately, the app will support image synchronization over the cloud. To learn more sony vegas pro 13 x64 free Capture One for iPad, click here. With the monthly fee plan, do I have to login over a live internet connection to a C1 webpage every time I want to use the software?
As a recreational camera enthusiast that only posts on the Internet, I’ve been waiting for this and have my new iPad mini узнать больше здесь ready to go. Dumped Adobe after the better part of 2 decades too. Totally mobile going forward, no more need for me to sit at computer screen ‘tweaking’ although admittedly that’s been a longtime passion as a hobbyist.
When you turn the C1 dial clockwise, the image gets darker. I have hopes for this app, but the current version is basically useless. It’s missing so much of the basic functionality, that I find capture one pro 12 fujifilm review free getting quickly frustrated that one can’t do this or that in the app.
Too bad, since I much prefer C1’s image quality over Lr. If the tone of the comments mirrors the acceptance of this app I see, in the very near future, a carefully worded release indicating that the mobile app capture one pro 12 fujifilm review free now part of the basic subscription. How is this a companion app when it has its own subscription? Imagine Netflix asking users to pay another subscription fee to use the app on the phone.
I was a beta tester capture one pro 12 fujifilm review free the app is good as a companion app. Should have been free for subscription members imho. Compared to Adobe’s Photography offering this CO offering is more than bad imho.
This is a really rudimentary UI, no better than a half dozen similar iPad photo editing apps. Capture One needs to do нажмите чтобы увидеть больше to justify the monthly fee, especially at the same cost as Lightroom which is one the best iPad apps out there.
Capture one pro 12 fujifilm review free a Fuji user the app is interesting for processing X-Trans files, but as bad as this looks for a monthly fee, it’s a hard pill to swallow.
I’ll probably keep using Lightroom mainly, and C1 Express on the desktop for processing high detail hero shots. I’ll file this one under “maybe someday. Oh no! Not yet another subscription. With Adobe Продолжение здесь have access to LR on my mobile devices for no extra fee. Just let the companion iPad version be a part of the already premium priced C1 for desktops. Capture One really pushing me into the Adobe ecosystem with that additional читать статью fee.
Too sad! I bought Affinity Photo, but can’t be bothered with it. RAW editing is cumbersome and learning to use it is a complete and deep learning curve as near to nothing works the same as Photoshop. I think it’s кажется, free download playrix games for pc считаю to have a difficult time gaining traction as a “companion app” when it comes with a separate price.
They really should have taken Adobe’s lead here—if you capture one pro 12 fujifilm review free for a C1 subscription, the app should be included. Affinity photo for ipad will do the trick.
I don’t work for them btw, just can’t stand subscriptions. Capture One should not be used on an iPad. It is a powerful tool that should be used on a REAL computer. Anyone using C1 on a toy like that, should have their head examined.
But it actually has some rather obvious advantages as you can use pen to correct images that is far more natural and intuitive way of editing then the way we mostly do it today. In fact, I would actually buy one if this app wasn’t subscription based and it’s halfway decent.
You’ve clearly never edited photos on a The screen is magical and the processing power нажмите для деталей more than sufficient to edit photos. Obviously the desktop is still superior for hardcore editing, but for the simple editing most people do the iPad is more than enough. An iPad Pro has more processing power than my 11 year old notebook computer, which is what I’ve been using to edit my photos for 11 years so it obviously works fine.
Heck, I feel like my iPad Pro has more processing power than my five year old fully loaded 5k iMac. Maybe, not for all things, but it definitely feels like it handles photo editing better. What a ridiculous comment. Plus a nit We should all send a simple message to the software companies that wish to rip us off with monthly charges — NO!
They may argue that you get all the updates, but if you buy software instead of renting it, you can still choose to buy updates, and when to buy them, or not to buy and keep using the original. As others have said, this app depends on cloud storage to communicate with the desktop. That’s what you’ll be paying for, basically.
Not sure how you can come up with a one-time payment for cloud storage I fail to see the scam here. David – Correct me if i’m wrong but I don’t think any cloud storage is part of the the ipad app? From my understanding you use capture one pro 12 fujifilm review free iPadOS sharing to export it to your desktop or to your own cloud service.
The only cloud infrastructure C1 capture one pro 12 fujifilm review free is for their Live service and that’s another subscription on top of this.
Apparently the roadmap includes two-way sync in the future. You can also export individual EIP files to, er, Files, and then import them on the desktop, Capture one pro 12 fujifilm review free assume to a session. No idea how that inter-relates with Live cloud space. Or even better, make the app free as an entry drug. They dont want you to decide on your own :.
Totally, affinity photo on ipad does it, check it out – not a subscription. It’s 20 quid one off payment. People have been copying files from capture one pro 12 fujifilm review free computer to capture one pro 12 fujifilm review free without sending them to a middle man for many decades now.
If their cloud storage is the only way to move photos, then the app is broken. It was probably designed that way to justify a monthly fee. Rather a different concept – but of course you’re not obliged to want it or like it. YesYesYes – give it a rest with the same comment everywhere. Affinity is great, and a bargain, but has very sub-par Raw development, and has no concept of synchronisation.
Note, IMHO what C1 is managing to illustrate so far is just how good and flexible Adobe’s approach to cross-device synchronisation is. And I speak as primarily a C1 user.
The problem of having baked-in edits has nothing to do with file synchronization across multiple devices. As for such synchronization, there’s no reason for that to require sending your file to a third party either.
There are already a couple of videos online, demonstrating the UI and features. Have you ever tried to get bugs fixed or even acknowledged, you’ll have to go through ‘support’ first which is basically impossible.
I reported a bug on как сообщается здесь I got a very ссылка на продолжение reply in under a day from a developer confirming the issue and asking me if I could generate a bit more evidence. I was told that a fix had been identified and would be in a subsequent dot release as soon as it was tested. The fix indeed turned up in the next update, смотрите подробнее the читать далее developer followed up with me to check that it was working for me.
I’ve contacted them a dozen times and it’s like talking to a wall.
