Database models graphically show the structure of a database so you can see how database elements, such as tables and views, relate to each other without showing the actual data.

This can streamline creating a new database or understanding the structure of an existing one. In order to use the database modeling features, consider upgrading to Visio Pro for Office This is very deceptive advertising. This product is completely useless to me.

If you need to reverse engineer a database do not fall for this as I did. This version can’t be install on a system that has volume licencing of Office. I wish I would have know that before buying it. Nothing in the description mentions that you can’t install it with volume licence office. It was the lowest price I could find online. Download was little confusing.

Purchased downloadable Visio Pro, intending to use with existing Office purchased through work; tried to install, but was warned that it would remove the Office , and that Office could not be reinstalled! Confirmed browsing MS and the Web. Visio is not available in any Office bundle, so why would MS create the artificial dependency?
