Sounds gory but oh so satisfying! In a nutshell this game is the muts nuts. I’ve had it for 3 months now and I still keep coming back to it. If you have an Xbox live subscription this game really is a must buy and at the price that Amazon are selling it you really can’t beat it for value for money.

I’ve never played any of the previous Fight Night games so was a little unsure about buying this but sue to the limited quality fighting games on the and the excellent price at Amazon, I thought why not.

I have to say it’s an amazing game. The first thing that strikes you is are the graphics, stunning, especially in HD but not exclusively so. However, even better is the game itself. It’s so engrossing and addictive it has you coming back for just 1 more fight. I thoroughly recommend anyone with a to purchase this title, either for the single player or the multi-player. A good game looks good and the controls are not bad but quite annoying when trying to do combos but overall its really good not a boxing fan but i thought i would give it a try and it’s good not bad for a new release on to a next gen console graphics look amazing.

This is a superb game. I was caught between Ghost Recon and this, and whilst I’m sure GR is excellent, there is a freshness with both the tactical and strategic aspects of this game. The career mode is involving, and whilst it has been rightly criticised elsewhere for lacking involvment, you really feel an affinity with your boxer through the excellent character creation, which means that you improve your technique to stop him from running into trouble with some of the big hitters.

The ESPN Classic mode is a wonderful way to see the styles of previous boxers and they provided with evocative background by Joe Tessitore. The graphics are excellent and the spot FX such as sweat and blood are like sandpaper to the eye.

Although I love this game, it’s difficult to see how people can enjoy putting themselves through so much pain in the name of sport. There are even situations when you choose a roster character in the game and the crowd even starts chanting your name. It’s awesome, but nothing we haven’t seen. Commentary can get absolutely repetitive but they have some unique comments to each individual player in the game which is a great add-on.

The music selection was also pretty nice. It gave the game a kind of casual feeling. Overall: 8 Fight Night Round 3 is an amazing game. Even facial reactions look real.

This game is a must buy for boxing fans. Although the single player might be repetitive, short, or have no storyline, the Multi-Player Live factor is what will bring you back to the game. Coming from a guy who’s never really grasped the appeal annually-updated athletic releases, that’s saying something. What makes me take notice? It’s more than accessible controls, strategy that any would-be pugilist intuitively understands, and lighting effects that make graphics snobs coo like amused infants.

It’s the little things; watching Ali snap jabs into my Frazier’s face, sweat and blood specks popping into the air, I almost forget that this is a game as I frantically bring up my defense with the hopes of setting up my next devastating hook to the body. Unprecedented character detail and fully-rendered crowds lend this game realism unmatched by any other on the market. This is the game that changed my mind about the necessity of an XBOX in my home. Why isn’t it perfect? While my qualms are few, they do exist, and you should know about them.

Occasionally the audio track will bug out, leaving gaping sound holes where you expect Joe Tessitore’s commentary or a trainer’s advice. On another note, I really hope to find more depth in a future Fight Night career mode, as this year’s seems rather shallow intense boxing rivalries should garner more attention, and the monotony of “contract, train, repeat” needs to be broken.
