I will never use software whose name includes “better” In fact, better than what? I can’t get my touchbar to go back to normal now, even after deleting the app. Great product and great support. Andreas is a gent. Keep it up guys I’m a huge fan. I only use BetterTouchTool to resize my windows but I use it for that a gazillion times a day.

Works great for me, been using it for years now. Works fine on Catalina. I’d be lost without it. Eventually I’ll branch out and see what else little app can do. I am trying to purchase bettertouchtool and when it tries to go to the purchase site it just spins and will not go there and then tells me that it cannot find the server.

I make shortcuts for my most used commands which may have otherwise been buried in a submenu or have a hot key combination that I never remember.

I was previously using Karibiner to make the [Home] and [End] keys on my Mac keyboard behave the way they do in Windows go to the beginning and end of the current line. It worked but there were a lot of steps to configure it I had to download extra settings and then pick the right ones Better Touch Tool is far more intuitive. You just type the key combination you want to map and then the key combination you want to map it to, and you’re done.

And not only that Better Touch Tool is a very well put together and flexible tool, developed by one of those computer fanatics who give so much back to the rest of us. This tool also comes with an integrated clipboard manager to copy multiple items at once. It also comes with a screenshot tool allowing you to adjust images on the fly. Available as freeware, BetterTouchTool is easy to download and install. However, after initial startup, it will attempt to access all of the computers on the test network.

Users will also notice the lack of instructions , which is a pity since understanding all its functions is not that simple. Additionally, the features are a little difficult to interpret outside the main menus. And although the overall interface is good, it can be a little confusing.

Everyone with Snow Leopard should have this. Pros: Great flexibility, versatility, and ease-of-use. Cons: Too many updates! Bigger updates less frequently would be MUCH better! Windows Magnet times better. I used all of them, but i prefer Windows Magnet 80cents at appstore, simple the best of them!!! Too bad, because I like BBT and got used to it. Hopefully a later update will make them compatible again.

It’s a great utility, but Mostly, the win dow jumps up or down only a little, but it’s tough when I’m writing in Word. But it’s a great utility, and thanks for doing it! Makes life so much easier I have only installed it this week, and so far no issues with bugs.
