Microsoft office 2010 not compatible with windows 10 free download

Just upgraded to Windows All my Office programs now have to be opened as an administrator and sometimes can’t be saved to their existing folders because I don’t have permission or they open as “read only”. Tech support fixed my problems with Outlook, but the next guy I spoke to in tech support said I had to upgrade Office or pay for premium support.

No problems with 7 – all arose after “upgrading”. Before I go back to 7 is this the truth, or has MS released a fix for the problem? It seems to be fairly widespread but no answers so far. This thread is locked. You can follow the question or vote as helpful, but you cannot reply to this thread.

Any image, link, or discussion related to child pornography, child nudity, or other child abuse or exploitation. This is such BS. I upgraded my Dell from Microsoft Windows 8. To find out after, my Windows 10 installation is not compatible with my Microsoft Office Home and Student licensed product, that was including in my purchase of my Dell and worked on Windows 8.

I was told a free upgrade could not be provided! Too make matters worse, my Microsoft OneDrive online account and my saved Word documents and syncing features are also not compatible with the new Windows 10 One-drive app that comes preinstalled when u upgrade.

This leaves me with Word-pad as my only option for creating, uploading, downloading and saving documents. I find it extremely hilarious that Microsoft itself is not compatible with its own Microsoft products, versions and updates.

Not sure what my son-in-law did installer but I am running Microsoft, Office Home and Student on my computer.

The same software that we had on Windows 7. It appears to be working fine. In trying to determine other problems that I am having several times I have gone to websites that tell me the Windows 10 website is not the same as what I have installed on my computer?

I am also running Windows Live for email. I knew going in that there would be some problems based on feedback. The only real problem I have is connectivity, limited, etc. I have just recently purchased an inspiron from dell It came with windows So I loaded my office outlook program and it works kind of I’m receiving all my emails but; when I uncheck the box in advance settings in each account to remove emails from server Windows 10 doesn’t like a lot programs made for every other platform below If anyone can come up with a remedy to make my recent MS software paid for, in good faith, for for platforms below 10, please let me know.

I’m dealing with this same problem! I’m thinking about just switching back to OG Windows 7, this is ridiculous. How satisfied are you with this reply?
