Warcraft III loader ( replace.me ) [Archive] – Ubuntu Forums

Your wine version is over a year old. Update to 1. You need to cd to the install directory first, before running the app. A lot of programs are broken and think they will always be started within the same directory as their file. Not all, but many are broken this way, and if you are intent on starting it otherwise it can only lead to problems.

Ah ok. Right, how do I update my wine. The way I installed was, I refreshed the list in the package manager then searched for wine and told it too install that. In the box type in TFT Version 1. After that there will be a lot of links. Find the one with garena. For all the guys that have a problem and only want a patch, i think i figured a way a bit time consuming and still needs to download all the switchers but i like tidy stuff xD so you just download them all and use just one to save all the versions then delete the others.

I’ve just instaled new windows and i dont wanna reinstal wc3 :F. Maybe explain to people that you just need the zip file for the version you want to switch to.

You do not need to download the vesrion switcher every time. Just download the version’s package and copy it to the folder wvs. Now when you switch version you will find the file you copied and you can select it.

My wvs has versions 1. Its not patch its the zip file for the version switcher. Just go to the comment I posted at This only applies to those who have the version switcher. BTW just copy the 1. I’ve downloaded the version switcher and when i want to open it or extract it it just says:Error,the file version switcher is corrupted or invalid. U shud get a patch for the WVS program.

I have downloaded it several times already but couldn’t inlstall!!! Help me plz!!! If you find TFT 1. What will i do if i have only a tft version 1. Do i need to patch it manually to 1. Can i do that with version switcher?? Please help me..

When you say “cd to the install directory” I am not sure what that means exactly. Sorry I am useless with ubuntu. On another forum they say the following is causing the problem: Out of date runtime libraries. It makes sense as the problem they described there is pretty much the one I am having.
